The Department of Economics is delighted to congratulate Siu Man Angela CHAN (ECON) and Ami KIM (MAEC) on receiving the 2025 Common Core Student Recognition Award. As recipients of this award, Angela and Ami are among seven students across HKUST recognized for their outstanding achievements and growth through the Common Core Program.

Through their diverse Common Core learning experiences, Angela and Ami broadened their perspectives beyond their academic disciplines, explored new fields of knowledge, and developed a deeper appreciation for interdisciplinary learning.
