The Department of Economics hosted its Graduation Dinner 2026 on May 13, 2026, bringing together a vibrant community of students and faculty for an evening of celebration and connection. Held in Tsim Sha Tsui East, the event marked a significant milestone for graduating cohorts across the department's undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

With over 120 students registered, this year's dinner reflects strong engagement and enthusiasm across programs, creating a meaningful opportunity for students and faculty members to connect beyond the classroom.

The evening commenced with a series of opening speeches delivered by student representatives and by Prof. Wooyoung Lim, the Head of the Department, setting a warm and celebratory tone for the night. Singing performances by both MSc and undergraduate students, lucky draws, and interactive games added excitement and anticipation among attendees. 

The evening not only celebrated academic achievements but also strengthened bonds within the department, leaving attendees with lasting memories as graduates embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
