Junlong Feng’s dissertation chosen for honorable mention in the 2021 Zellner Thesis Award

Assistant Professor Junlong Feng ‘s dissertation was chosen for honorable mention in the 2021 Zellner Thesis Award in Econometrics and Statistics.

The project title is “Essays in Econometrics”. It explores areas such as “nonparametric identification and estimation with endogeneity using instrumental variables,” and “low-rank matrix recovery and high-dimensional panel data models,” as described by Prof. Feng in the project.

The Award is named in honor of the late Arnold Zellner, who is recognized as a highly influential statisticians in the 20th century for his lifelong contribution in the field. It is intended to recognize outstanding work by young researchers in the field of Econometrics and Statistics.
