Prof. Hyuncheol Bryant KIM commented to SCMP on school closures in Hong Kong over Covid-19.

Prof. KIM commented that school closures do not help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Rather, school closures cause children to lose the positive effects of education and intensify inequality, which would be harmful to the society. According to Prof. KIM, the expansion of regular face-to-face classes should be a priority in the first half of 2021.
