This week at the interactive Econ Industry Talk, Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund’s Cindy Chow walked us through the entrepreneurial landscape of Hong Kong and explained why she believes it is important to help Hong Kong’s economy to thrive. Cindy shared some details on the distribution of private venture capital funding to Hong Kong startups, and how Hong Kong entrepreneurs and young people can realize their dreams.
A group of student startup founders from HKUST, who started a company that uses unsold bread collected from bakeries in Hong Kong to manufacture beer, also joined the event to tell us about the process and challenges of setting up the company.
Thank you very much, Cindy, for sharing with us so much insights in this sharing session, and also thank you student startup founders, Anushka Purohit, Deevansh Gupta, Naman Tekriwal, and Suyash Mohan, for joining us and sharing your on-going journey of running the business!
