Professor Albert Park presented findings at a launch event for a 2-year research project on “The Belt and Road Initiative in ASEAN” conducted jointly by HKUST Institute for Emerging Market Studues (IEMS) and United Overseas Bank (UOB). Seven reports were released: an overview report and six country studies on Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. All reports are based on extensive field research in those countries.
