Prof. Byoungchan LEE, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, has been invited to be a fellow of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on the New Agenda for Fiscal and Monetary Policy. He will serve as a GFC Fellow during the council term, from October 2020 to September 2021.

The network of Global Future Councils consists of experts from government, academia, international organizations, business, and civil society. Each of 40 thematic councils across 10 areas is dedicated to providing thought leadership and promoting innovative thinking on important global issues. Prof. LEE’s council will concentrate on developing new thinking on the monetary and fiscal policy tools for supporting an inclusive economy, which is a major global challenge under the current unprecedented economic situation.
