Associate Professor Sujata Visaria has been appointed to the Standing Panel on Impact Assessment (SPIA) at the international research partnership, CGIAR (formerly known as the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research).

SPIA is a panel of six experts in impact assessment, tasked with providing rigorous, evidence-based and independent strategic advice to the CGIAR system. This includes efficient and effective impact assessment methods and practices and innovative ways to improve knowledge and capacity on how research contributes to development outcomes.
