On 20 October 2025, the Department of Economics held its first-ever UG Economics Students Golf Fun Day at The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course. This event provided a unique and exciting opportunity for ECON, ECOF, and MAEC students to connect with peers and faculty in a relaxed, off-campus setting while enjoying the beautiful marine environment.

The Golf Fun Day included a comprehensive experience with golf training for beginners, practice at the driving range, and a delicious lunch buffet served in a private room. The event fostered relationships among students as they learned basic swing skills from a professional golf instructor and engaged in friendly practice sessions. Participants were treated to a scenic ferry ride to the island, further enhancing the day’s enjoyment. Overall, the Golf Fun Day successfully combined leisure and learning, promoting community spirit within the department.
