Staff-Student Liaison Committee Meeting (UG) – Fall Term 2025–26
07 Nov 2025

On 5 November 2025, the Department of Economics held its Staff-Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meeting for the Fall Term 2025–26. The committee convened 11 undergraduate student representatives from the BBA (ECON), BSc (ECOF), and BSc (MAEC) programs, along with the UG Committee Coordinator, committee members, and administrative staff.

The SSLC serves as a vital platform for open dialogue between students and faculty, ensuring that student voices are heard and their feedback contributes to shaping the department’s academic and co-curricular initiatives. During the meeting, student representatives shared valuable insights and suggestions gathered from their peers, discussing topics such as feedback on programs and courses, student career opportunities, and enrichment activities. Additionally, students expressed interest in establishing a new Economics Students’ Association under the department, highlighting the importance of fostering community and support among students.

The department appreciates the active participation of all student representatives and their commitment to creating a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. We look forward to continuing this meaningful dialogue and working together to enhance the student experience in the Department of Economics.
