Economic Faculty Awarded Franklin Prize For Teaching Excellence 2024

The Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence was established in 2000 with donations from the Larry and Mei Kwong Franklin Endowment Fund. It is to recognize business faculty contributions in terms of teaching excellence in both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
Announced in May 2025, the Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence 2024 was awarded to six faculty members in the Business School, of whom three were from the Department of Economics. Prof. Xinyu Hua (left), Associate Professor, was the winner for MBA Core courses. Assistant Professor Junlong Feng (center) won the MBA electives and all MSc courses category, and Prof. Byoungchan Lee (right), Assistant Professor, was the winner for UG courses. Congratulations!
