Because responding to COVID-19 has influenced everything we do in the past year, we decided to make it the theme of this year’s newsletter. One of our faculty members and one of our MSc students reflect upon how the pandemic affected teaching and exchange activities. We also report on research of our faculty on topics related to COVID-19, which highlights the leading role the Department is playing in deepening understanding of the economic and environmental impacts of the pandemic.
