BBA in Economics

Students who wish to declare an additional major in the SBM should join the additional major exercise at the end of the 4th term of study in Spring. For details and eligibility, please visit the SBM website. Alternatively, if students complete all program requirements for an additional major in the SBM, they can self-declare the additional major in their final term. Please contact the SBM UG Program Office (bmug@ust.hk) for information.

Students who declare cross-school additional major or minor(s) are expected to finish all major and minor courses within 4 years of study, and they are required to submit a valid study plan when they apply for the programs. Please observe the application timeline as it can vary from program to program.

BBA ECON students are expected to take all major required courses at HKUST. Notwithstanding the above, students may transfer a maximum of ONE major required course back to HKUST.

Before going for exchange, students should check the Credit Transfer Database for the approved course mappings. If a course you plan to take does not already exist in the database, please submit a course equivalent assessment request with a detailed course syllabus to the Credit Transfer Application System for assessment.
