BBA in Economics

Overview

The BBA program focuses on problems closely related to a company's external economic environment and internal operation, and on economic reasoning which can contribute to sound business decision-making.

Economics is a social science that studies people's decisions under constraints. It offers expertise in topics such as behavior of consumers and firms, efficiency and equity of markets, economic growth, business cycles, international trade and finance, taxation and public policies, etc.

ECON 3014 Managerial Microeconomics
ECON 3024 Managerial Macroeconomics

The BBA program in Economics focuses on problems closely related to a company's external economic environment and internal operation, and on economic reasoning, which can contribute to sound business decision making.

Combining the analytical nature of economics with other business disciplines, and/or minor programs, students will have wide range of career choice in different business fields like banking and financial institutions, the administration field, marketing and accounting, IT and government agencies; or they can pursue further study in different business areas.

All students are required to finish a project/paper before they graduate.
