Curriculum for BSc Economics and Finance

 

Note: Students admitted in 2023-24 or after should take LANG2062 instead of LABU 2040. From Fall 2019/20 on, ECON 3123, ECON 3133, and ECON 3143 may be offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters (subject to change each year). ECON 3113 is fixed in the Spring semester only. From Fall 2021/22 on, ECON 3113 becomes a pre-requisite for ECON 3143. To graduate, students should complete at least 120 credits in approved courses. They may need to take courses additional to the required and elective courses as specified above to met this minimum credit requirement. The University Common Core of the 4-Year undergraduate degree curriculum comprises 30 credits in total. Students do not need to follow the pattern recommended above, but fulfil all requirement as specified on the University's Common Core Program website, http://uce.ust.hk
